Graeme has a broad range of industry experience that includes both private and public sectors in the areas of mining, traffic and transport engineering, design, construction, and consultancy project management.

Graeme established Trafflec in 2007, after a long career in government, and has grown the company to an industry leader based on technical ability, ethical behaviour and reliability.

James Trotman

James started his working career as an Australian Federal Police Officer and was the youngest officer to achieve the rank of Sergeant.  James joined Trafflec in 2008 where he gained his electrical and project management qualifications.

James has been  part of the company’s senior management team since 2016.

  • Project Manager: delivery of $11m of electrical and ITS infrastructure on the Gateway GUN/ GAS project

  • Project Manager; delivery of traffic signal, lighting and ITS infrastructure across centres in regional Qld with values up to $5m

Yasmin has over 15 years’ experience in Health and Safety Management, Leadership, Change and Transformation, Business Improvement, Risk Management, Governance and Assurance, Environmental Management, Emergency and Security Management and Delivery Integrity gained across a range of industries including: mining, oil and gas, civil, retail, health and human services and manufacturing.
 
Yasmin is a part of the Senior Management Team and is responsible for the HSE & HR strategic visions, provides monitoring, coaching and implementation of the the day to day Safety, Environment, Quality & HR systems to ensure a safe working environment for all staff

Joshua has been with Trafflec for 10 years holding various positions from Apprentice Electrician, Tradesman, Electrical Supervisor and is currently a Project Coordinator. Joshua is an expert in the Ergon and Exergex projects where he uses his skills to lead the teams in achieving, safe, on time and on budget projects.

Ben Carveth

Project Coordinator/Systems Manager
Ben has more than 15 years of experience in Intelligent Transport Systems, electrical, communications, and civil infrastructure projects. He has extensive experience coordinating TMR, Queensland Rail and major transport projects from planning and budgeting through to construction, commissioning and handover.
Ben also develops project controls, live budget systems, production tracking and technical training programs to improve project delivery across Trafflec.

Sean Crome

Project Coordinator
A Project Coordinator with over 15 years of experience in traffic signals, road lighting, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), and major civil infrastructure projects across Queensland. Sean joined Trafflec as a Project Foreman and has progressed into a Project Coordinator role, successfully delivering a range of TMR, local government, and private infrastructure projects. His extensive field and project management experience enables him to effectively coordinate construction activities from planning through to commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Sean has built a strong reputation for leadership, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and delivering practical solutions on complex transport infrastructure projects.

  • Successfully delivered numerous traffic signal, road lighting, and ITS projects across Queensland for TMR, local councils, and private clients.

  • Planned and coordinated complex traffic signal and road lighting switch-overs on major road infrastructure projects while minimising disruption to road users.

Oliver Sandford

Project Engineer

An engineer with experience in traffic signals, road lighting and ITS construction. Oliver’s career as a Contract Quality Representative at Trafflec and have since gained experience on multiple TMR projects across Queensland. Oliver has been promoted through different levels while working at Trafflec and is now in a Project Engineer position, working on a variety of projects in the Main Roads industry. The projects he have worked on have consistently excelled in terms of safety, cost, and quality.
 
 Career highlights:

  • Construction of a numerous signalised intersection of varying sizes.

  • Developed techniques for overcoming obstacles in installation of conduits, pits and footings in crowded service corridors.

  • Planned installation of over 1500 LEDs and SLCs in under 4 months to maximise efficiency.

  • Developed quality procedures to audit and track installations of signals, lighting and ITS.

  • Developed Inspection and Test Plans to work effectively in civil construction.

Addison is a Project Engineer with experience in the delivery of traffic signals, lighting infrastructure, and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) projects across Queensland. Since joining Trafflec, Addison has developed a strong background in the planning, coordination, and delivery of Energex and Transport and Main Roads (TMR) infrastructure projects.  
 
 Career highlights:

  • Undergraduate Assistant – Development of Infrastructure Systems for Accident Prevention 

  • Led Contract Quality Representatives in managing QA systems, including ITPs, lot documentation, RFIs, and contract records to ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements.

Experienced in preparing competitive estimates and submissions for complex transport infrastructure projects including traffic signals, ITS, street lighting and electrical works exceeding $35 million in value.
